Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pareyar mobile application (“Pareyar”, the “App”), provided by Bahez Omar (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

Pareyar is a personal finance and budgeting application. It works offline, with your data stored locally on your device. If you create an account and have an active Pro subscription, the App can also back up and synchronize your data across your devices.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You may use the App in local mode without an account. Creating an account is optional and is only required for cloud backup and multi-device sync. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes your account and any synced data.

4. Free and Pro Plans

The App is free to use. Core features — including expense tracking, budgets, recurring transactions, analytics, and CSV export — are available at no cost.

Pro is an optional paid plan that unlocks cloud sync and multi-device access. Pro is offered solely as a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store using Apple In-App Purchase. We do not sell Pro, or accept payment for it, by any other method inside the App.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

• Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Current pricing and subscription length are shown on the upgrade screen in the App before purchase, in your local currency.
• Purchases can be restored on a new device via “Restore Purchases” on the upgrade screen.
• All billing, refunds, and payment disputes are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We do not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly; refund requests are made to Apple.

6. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple App Store Terms of Service and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App except as permitted by law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or to other users’ data.

8. Your Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at pareyar.com/en/privacy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial information you enter. The App is a record-keeping tool and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, and content (excluding the data you enter), is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved without loss. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important information.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or to Pro features if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from within the App.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

15. Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
